Off course you will find the famous Gang of Four (GoF) and other well known design patterns, but we also want to collect many more functional patterns that can be found in many software design models these days. During our day jobs as software architecture consultants, we encounter over and over again the same business level patterns but never found a resource where to quickly fetch them and import them in our projects. So we thought the time was right to start our own site, dedicated to software modeling. We hope that it will become all we hope for and that it may be useful to you too.
One important thing we wanted to achieve is the visualization of models. Therefore we've started a little project called UMLCanvas to create an implementation of a DSL to describe a UML model and have this model visualized on an HTML5 canvas. This way, models should not be uploaded and are easily edited on the wiki itself.
